Allergen-free

The demand for allergen-free products is increasing all the time. Food Compounds has its own allergen-free production line in a separate high-care production room. This production room is subject to a clean room approach with an overpressure ventilation system and unique zoning. The room is only accessible to authorised personnel via airlocks. No allergens are used as ingredients, nor allergens which may be present in ingredients as a result of cross-contamination. The entire process is fully controlled as soon as the raw materials arrive. The allergens in question are all 14 allergens referred to in European legislation. The globally accepted Vital 2.0 standard is used to determine the threshold values.
